Connection of external equipment
Audio/Video in sockets (AV3)
1. Connect the audio/video out sockets of the VCR to the AUDIO/VIDEO IN (AV3) sockets on the front panel of the set. 2. Select the AV3 mode by pressing the TV/AV button repeatedly. 3. Press the PLAY button on the VCR.

S-video/Audio in sockets (S-AV)
When connecting an S-VHS VCR to the S-VIDEO socket, the picture quality will be further improved. 1. Connect the S-video socket of the VCR to the S-VIDEO socket on the front panel of the set. 2. Connect the audio cable from the S-VHS VCR to the AUDIO IN sockets on the front panel of the set. 3. Select the S-AV mode by pressing the TV/AV button repeatedly. 4. Press the PLAY button on the VCR.

Note : If you have a mono VCR, connect the audio cable from the VCR to the AUDIO L/MONO socket on the front panel of the set.
Directly switching to TV mode from AV mode Press any one of the NUMBER buttons in AV mode. In PIP mode, when both main and sub pictures are in AV mode, press one of the NUMBER buttons. You can switch to the last viewing TV programme.
Copy function
If you have two VCRs, you can copy from one VCR to the other. It is only possible to copy from the VCR connected to the socket(s) 1, the front S-AV or AV3 sockets to the VCR at the socket(s) 2.
